Now this is what I call a Fun Evening!

Pictured: Rogue Space, The Starship from Hell, The Metamorphica, Hulks & Horrors, Bandits & Battlecruisers, Rory's Story Cubes, Pencils, Notepad and lots of dice!!
(after I took this picture I added in my Justifiers books (they match the size of the others nicely)
Now lets see what kind of gaming mischief I can get into!!

    1. The gaming books pictured are all assorted releases from the OSR Movement, and I picked them up on LULU. Thanks for the comment!

    1. Hey Legion, Justifiers is a great concept and setting the mechanics never quite worked for me though.

  4. Own Rogue Space and The Starship From Hell (both are wicked awesome) but not familiar with Justifiers. What's it about?

    1. Hey edchuk, Thanks for stopping by and commenting. Justifiers is an old game with a different game system, it was a cool setting uplifted animals sent out to explore space.

    2. I got into Justifiers because it's like Alien Legion, the game. Um, I also recommend Alien Legion, the comic (first run especially).
Found this review of the game (no idea who wrote it, but it is a pretty solid review):

    3. Found it! Saw it on RPGNow and it looks interesting. Island of Dr. Moreau/Dark Angel/Dark Conspiracy with some ¡Viva los Muertos! thrown in for good measure.

  5. The Metamorphica = The best damn rule supplement ever! _\\\\

It is not just great for having a huge list of powers and mutations, but its allow a GM to make unique freakish creatures, or to alter one's stock of generic monsters, so every encounter can be different, and to keep the players on their feet. To anyone who have never seen this book, it is worth checking out!

    1. Malcadon I agree 100%, every GM should have The Metamorphica in his library!

  6. More people who have Justifiers! Wow, I thought I was nearly alone in that. Love the world, very tight world building. The rules are not very good, but there is so much source to mine.

I read that there is a new edition out in German, but no idea if they cleaned up the rules.

I actually wrote a multi-part review of it for a blog carnival not long ago. http://fractalbat.wordpress.com/2013/12/29/justifiers-rpg-osr-carnival-pt-1-setting/
