Our Astonishing Swordsmen and Sorcerers of Hyperborea Campaign got derailed by the Holidays, the Flu, Work and the Polar Vortex. I Hope to pick it up again soon, it is a great game!
We did play a game of Pathfinder a Sunday ago, my buddy Clint ran it. He did a good job, but going from a simpler rules system like AS&SH to Pathfinder was a bit of a system shock for all of us. We also noted how much longer the combat in Pathfinder took. So not sure if we will continue the Pathfinder game or not. I've picked up a few new gaming goodies (Rogue Space, D30 Sandbox Companion, Savage Worlds Deluxe) that I will hopefully be discussing on the blog. I saw The Hobbit...oh my! I kept waiting for Jack Sparrow to jump in at some point. It was an entertaining movie, but not the version of The Hobbit that I envisioned. Hope to get back to posting more soon. I mainly just wanted to drop in and say hello.
