I made a run to the local Goodwill/Thrift stores in my area yesterday, it's been a bit since I've had the time to do so. Scored a few books at a great price.
My wife laughed at me when I came home asking when I'm gonna find the time to read all of these with our crazy schedules. I tell her I'm getting these for when I retire! : )

Where do you plan on retiring? I may have to buy the place next door.
ReplyDeleteThat's my plan. Buy all my retirement reading, now! Of course, I'll also inherit my father's ridiculously huge book collection and after I unload the ones I have no interest in, I would still need to live another hundred years to read all of those.
ReplyDeleteNice!
ReplyDeleteBy the time I retire, I may be able to build a modest retirement home from all the books I buy but haven't got around to reading yet.
ReplyDeleteDon't know yet Eli, will let you know when we decide maybe we can be old geezers gaming together.
ReplyDeleteThat's awesome James, my dad had a decent collection at one time, but doesn't have it anymore. : (
bliss Infinte- Thanks! : )
Trey, are you meaning a house made out of books? That's alot of reading! : )
I could have sworn one of the titles was "House of Loins."
ReplyDelete;)
At this point, I don't get to retire. :(
ReplyDeleteMy 'to read' stack covers a full 6' book case plus another 8' or so feet of shelving space. It's all non-fiction though. Then there is the gaming book pile awaiting me... plus the PDFs I have to print out, bind and read... *sigh*
