Chimparians for Mutant Future

Here's a quick conversion I did from Hackmaster Hacklopedia of Beasts III.  I love how easy it is to work up and convert critters to this game!

Chimparians

No. Enc. : 2d4(5d4)
Alignment : Neutral
Movement : 120'(40')
Armor Class : 6
Hit Dice : 2
Attacks : 1
Damage : By weapon (typically club, slings and stone axes)
Save : L2
Morale : 8
Hoard Class : XX

Standing about 3' tall, the chimparians are stocky chimp-men who often use primitive weapons and armor. Their barbarian tribes are known for their savagery and bad manners, but they have developed the skills to craft crude weapons and trade with other tribes. The chimparians have primitive rituals to celebrate important events, pass on stories and teach tribal history.
When ten or more chimparians are present they can enact a screech ability. This screech will echo all over the jungle floor, allowing the chimparians to gain surprise on the next round 8 times in 10.
Chimparians employ clubs, slings and stone axes. All weapons made by chimparians do 1d6 points of damage. Larger chimparians have been known to take swords, axes and even armor from fallen foes.

  1. I'm doing a Rhinoceros mutant for GW, are the creatures really that easy to convert? I'll send him to you when I get him done to look at.

  3. Hey Joe,
Converting stuff to Mutant Future is easy and more importantly fun! Pathfinder is a more rules heavy system, so conversions are naturally much more involved.
