I know most if not all of you know the D6 rules are available for free download. Which is just really cool!
However, I'm just a book in hand kinda guy, so I looked around to see if any of the recent D6 books were available in print form for a good price. I lucked up and got a Hardback copy of D6 Space for $5.
I don't know when we will get to play D6/Mini-Six, but I gotta admit it's a neat rules system. Happy to have it as part of my collection. So many games so little time!
This system, Star Wars, etc. West End was very good at what they did. Boy do I miss Torg though. Yeah so many games & so little time
ReplyDeleteAgreed. d6 is pretty sweet. Is there a POD version of those free downloads?
ReplyDeleteNeedles, Torg is another game I wanted to play but never got the chance too. I love the Mix and Match Campaign Setting of Torg.
ReplyDeleteChristian, I haven't found a POD version, that would be sweet. If anyone knows if there is a POD version please comment.
Besides Lords of Creation, TORG is the ultimate Kitchen Sink Fantasy setting!
ReplyDelete$5 is not bad! I have my Mini Six booklet printed out. I like the simplicity of it, so I am content.
I really dug the D6 Hercules / Xena.
ReplyDeleteMalcadon, I had forgotten about Lords of Creation. : ) I too like the simplicity of Mini Six, but couldn't resist expanding my gaming library further.
ReplyDeleteBlUsKrEEm, good going, now you got me wanting to track down D6 Hercules/Xena! LOL
When I try to talk about D6, I open my mouth and rainbows and synth music pour out.
ReplyDeleteStill one of my great RPG loves.
ReplyDeleteD6 Space is a nice crisp base book to work with and most of my conversions are a version of it.
